"This thoughtfully designed infill community will provide a high quality living environment for buyers, complete the neighborhood and enhance the property values of nearby homes," said Josh Freeman, Community Dynamics' spokesperson. "The development will bring $5M in construction jobs to the local economy and will deliver high-quality entry level housing to working families who might otherwise be excluded from the high cost of homeownership."
Designed by Fonda-Bonardi & Hohman Architects and TGP Landscape Architects, the proposal features single family living in a progressive site layout that encourages interaction among neighbors and fosters a true sense of community. The two story Mission style homes front on adjacent streets and landscaped pedestrian pathways within the site, and homeowners enjoy park-like shared amenities including a tot lot, lawn play area and barbeque/picnic spaces.
The proposal reflects Community Dynamics' commitment to sustainable design, as the homes will outperform the State's energy efficiency standards by more than 15% by way of 2x6 wall construction, tankless water heaters and high SEER air conditioning units, among other measures. The Company will pre-wire every home to accept architecturally integrated rooftop photovoltaics, and the community features a drought tolerant landscape palette which will outperform State water use standards by more than 55%. |
