VEO BREAKS GROUND
CARSON, CA – Members of the Carson City Council joined with representative leadership from CityView and Community Dynamics  for a ceremonial groundbreaking at Veo, the company's award winning $60M mixed use residential development in the South Bay.

Favored with a break in the heaviest rains of the winter thus far, CityView’s Chairman, Henry Cisneros, expressed his thanks for the clear skies, and spoke movingly of the team’s mission to cultivate Home as the heart and soul of family and community life. Loren Bloch, Community Dynamics’ President, recognized the Carson City Council’s vision for a new downtown retail district in the heart of Carson.

“Veo delivers the rare opportunity to buy a new home at a great price in the South Bay”, said Josh Freeman, the company’s spokesperson. “It’s a community for families looking for an energy efficient home they can be proud of, a shorter commute allowing them to spend more time at home with their families, and beautiful landscaping with resort-style amenities.”

Located on 9.5 acres on Carson Street, Veo is at the center of Carson’s emerging mixed-use district master plan area featuring restaurants, shops and transportation within a short walk, and the entire South Bay within reach. Generous landscaped walking paths inside the community provide the friendliness of a walkable neighborhood, and Veo’s innovative site design was recognized by the National Association of Home Builders as the Best on the Boards Community Site Plan in the United States at the Best in American Living Awards.

Inside the residences, state-of-the-art residential living will include fiber optic wiring to each home for high bandwidth internet and satellite subscription services, and Veo homes will outperform the State’s energy efficiency standards by more than 15%, reducing both energy use and homeowners’ ongoing utility costs.

Sales are anticipated to start in the late summer of 2014, and the community is expected to build out by the end of 2015.
