50 single family detached homes in Compton
A run-down, ill-used block marred an otherwise pleasant middle-class neighborhood in the City of Compton.
In association with a non-profit client, Community Dynamics reclaimed the six acre industrial brownfield, changed the character of the block and revitalized the neighborhood. We created Central Park Estates -- a collection of 50 beautiful single-family detached homes.
And with outstanding cooperation from our architects, engineers and subcontractors, plus a grant from the California Department of Energy, we delivered the first subdivision to feature architecturally integrated photovoltaic roofing in California. |
